Obama: US Will Address Complaints of Spying of Mexico, Brazil
Met with countries' presidents
President Obama found himself defending more than just his Syria policy at this week's G-20 summit—he also fielded protests about National Security Agency surveillance programs.
Obama confirmed Friday that he met with the presidents of Brazil and Mexico and pledged to look into reports of U.S. espionage in their countries.
The president said he told counterparts Dilma Rousseff of Brazil and Enrique Pena Nieto: "I take these allegations very seriously. I understand their concerns … and that we will work with their teams to resolve what is a source of tension."
