Rand Paul's Attempt To Halt Foreign Aid To Egypt Fails

An attempt by Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) to cut off aid to Egypt has failed as senators voted to table the amendment by an 86 to 13 margin.
Paul's amendment would have halted aid until Egypt holds elections and redirected $1.5 billion to domestic bridge building.
