Anaheim to Hold Special Public Meeting Over Police Shootings
Weekend protests brought out heavily militarized law enforcement response.
Anaheim is inviting its residents to talk about issues affecting the city next week, including recent officer-involved shootings.
The city, in a news release, said Anaheim Mayor Tom Tait and Anaheim City Council members plan to hold a special meeting on Wednesday, Aug. 8 at 4 p.m. at Anaheim High School's Cook Auditorium. The auditorium has a listed capacity of 1,290.
