Well, the Daily Beast writer doesn't actually estimate the number of candidates planning to run under the White Power banner in 2012. But she does have a number for 2010. Citing the Southern Poverty Law Center, which is more likely to goose a number up than to lowball it, she tells us the total was…nine. That includes a guy who aimed for "a low-level water board position in Riverside, California."
