Jared Weinberg, who had recently become a District of Columbia police officer at the time of his May arrest, pleaded guilty today to conspiring to launder drug money.

In 2009 and 2010, Mr. Weinberg, 28, of Elkridge, Md., rented an apartment in that town that was used by accused cocaine dealer Damon L. Collins, according to assistant U.S. attorney Ross Lenhardt.
