Anne Arundel County police say the officer who installed a hidden camera in the boy's restroom at Glen Burnie High School will not face criminal charges.

They say no criminal laws were violated and that the criminal investigation revealed that the device was not used to record, store or transmit any images or sound.

On the morning of March 20, a 14-year-old student discovered a camera hidden in the corner of a boy's bathroom at Glen Burnie High School.

Police were called in, and learned a 14-year veteran of the force was responsible for installing the camera.
