Copwatchers Arrested in Texas for "Interfering"

Because observing is interfering with a cop's ability to get away with stuff

A pair of Texas cop watchers were found guilty Wednesday for not moving away while they were video recording a cop on a public street last winter.

John Bush and Matthew Medina were charged with failure to comply with a lawful order when a cop ordered them to stand behind a street sign to continue recording.

Austin police officer Jason Mistric claimed they were "interfering," even though the video shows they were merely standing on a sidewalk, several feet from where officers were making an arrest.
