Muslim Group Bans Daily Caller from Attending Press Event
Called them a hate group, not a media outlet, Daily Caller says.
Tucker Carlson's website The Daily Caller reported on Wednesday that a Muslim civil liberties advocacy organization had blocked them from attending a news conference, labeling the conservative outlet a "hate group."
According to The Daily Caller's Vince Coglianese, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) had scheduled the event to respond to recent attacks on U.S. embassies in Egypt and Libya.
But after reviewing the reporter's credentials, the CAIR communication director Ibrahim Hooper refused to let them join.
