Feds Accuse Seattle Pet Store of Trafficking in Rare Fish

Busted, they say, by an undercover wildlife officer

A Seattle pet store accused of selling a rare Asian fish illegally imported into the U.S. now faces federal charges following an undercover investigation.

Federal prosecutors contend Quyen "Andy" To was caught selling an Asian arowana – a tropical fish also known as a dragon fish – to an undercover wildlife officer late last year.  In doing so, he is alleged to have violated an international treaty restricting the sale of species of animals threatened with extinction.
