The Reason Foundation–the nonprofit that publishes this website and magazine–has produced a comprehensive Taxpayer's Guide to the Stimulus. Explains project coordinator Anthony Randazzo:
We have done our best to explain the provisions in simple language while pointing out some of the policy implications of the spending. There are charts and graphs that show the spending, a table of costs, and a breakdown of spending for each sector of the American economy. We have also listed some resources for you to explore how the stimulus is being spent today.
You can, for instance, click on the "Commerce, Justice, and Science" link, one of 15 major categories of spending, and learn about the "$650 million for Digital TV Converter Coupons," among other allegedly recession-beating measures.
