Speaker Paul Ryan hasn't endorsed The Donald-yet.
House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wisconsin) didn't offer a glowing endorsement of Donald Trump after their meeting this week, but that may just be a matter of time.
From The New York Times:
"Donald Trump and I have had our differences — we talked about those differences today," Mr. Ryan said, adding, "I do believe that we are now planting the seeds to get ourselves unified."
With his conciliatory language toward Mr. Trump, Mr. Ryan embarked on a perilous gamble with the volatile force of the businessman's personality — which the speaker characterized as "very good" — and with Mr. Trump's shape-shifting on policy.
Many Republicans are still holding out in getting behind their presumptive nominee, but Trump's policy agenda shouldn't be a major obstacle. Essentially, he's one of them.
