Intel Planning to Purchase Wireless Infrastructure Division

Intel has announced that it plans to buy the wireless infrastructure division of Mindspeed Technologies, which designs, develops and sells semiconductor solutions.
The intended targets for those solutions are communications applications in both wireless and wired network infrastructure markets.
