Obama Administration: Only 26,794 Chose Health Plan Through Healthcare.gov in First Month

Falling far short of expectations, only 106,185 people chose a health insurance plan using the federal and state-run websites in its first month, the Obama administration announced today.
Of those, only 26,794 signed up using the federally run Healthcare.gov website, which has been plagued with technical problems. And an additional 79,391 chose insurance through state-run exchanges.
