Manning Gender Treatment Issues Could Go to Court

Wants to be able to receive treatment related to transition from Bradley to Chelsea

 Imprisoned documents leaker, formerly known as Bradley Manning, is prepared to go to court in order to receive treatment for gender identity disorder, his supporters revealed Wednesday.

The Private Manning Support Network published on its website four letters signed by the Army private, who now wishes to live as a female and go by the name Chelsea Manning.

In one letter, Manning said defense attorney David Coombs is helping him seek treatment for gender dysphoria. The 25-year-old soldier said he wants to at least be allowed to live as a woman and receive hormone replacement therapy.
