Rep. King's Stops in NH Raise Questions of Possible Presidential Campaign
In the state calling for intervention in Syria
RYE BEACH, N.H.—Rep. Pete King isn't ready to say he's really seeking the presidency. But he is campaigning for what he calls "the soul of the Republican Party."
King (R-L.I.) made two stops over the weekend in New Hampshire, a key testing ground for presidential hopefuls.
He's about two years early for New Hampshire's strange but vital process. It's the one where the Granite State leverages a famous early primary to force wannabes to lavish attention on a few hundred thousand likely voters — about .001 percent of the U.S. population.
