Dead Woman's Family Seeks $40 Million from Doctor, Craigslist
Want to hold everybody responsible
The family of a pregnant woman whose body was found last summer in a car along a rural Delaware County road is suing the doctor charged in her death, the hospital where he worked and Craigslist, saying all were negligent and caused her and her unborn daughter to die.
They want $40 million for the emotional toll they've taken because of Deanna Ballman's death and the death of her unborn daughter, according to a lawsuit filed this week in Delaware County Common Pleas Court.
