Thanks to C-SPAN's Howard Mortman for sending this fun clip from 16 years ago, when a nearly pubescent Jay Carney, now President Obama's press secretary and then a scribe at Time magazine, noted that "pork lives!" in response to a caller citing a 1997 Reason story about then-Sen. Dick Lugar's promotion of a "Popcorn Research Council."
