Nikki Haley to Headline Fundraiser for Mark Sanford
Succeeded Sanford as governor, Sanford looking to succeed Tim Scott, who succeeded Jim DeMint in the Senate, in the House
South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley will be the headliner this week at a fundraiser for embattled GOP congressional candidate Mark Sanford.
The boost by Haley, who succeeded Sanford as governor, is a big deal as the special election in South Carolina's 1st District enters its final stretch. The lone debate between Sanford and Democrat Elizabeth Colbert Busch is Monday night at The Citadel and the election is May 7.
