Former Congresswoman, Mom of Jailed Detroit Mayor, Holding UFO Hearings
Wants to be "part of the discussion" in Washington "if there's something there that ought to be discussed"
UFO researchers can't get Congress to listen to testimony about their extraterrestrial studies, so they're having their say this week before a group of former lawmakers including Carolyn Cheeks Kilpatrick.
Kilpatrick, a former U.S. House representative from Detroit who is the mother of jailed ex-mayor Kwame Kilpatrick, is one of six former members of Congress taking part in the five-day series of non-governmental hearings known as the Citizen Hearing on Disclosure in Washington.
