Virginia College Faculty Overwhelmingly Donate to Obama
Shockingly, the academics seem to lean a tad to the left
ALEXANDRIA — If dollars were votes, employees at Virginia's publicly funded colleges and universities would have re-elected President Barack Obama by a landslide.
They have donated more than $100,000 to Obama's campaign, but a little more than $11,000 to presumptive GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney, a Virginia Watchdog study revealed.
