In 2007 David Goldhill's father was admitted to a New York City hospital with pneumonia. Five weeks later, he died there from multiple hospital-acquired infections. Kmele Foster interviews Goldhill, a self-described liberal Democrat and CEO of the Game Show Network, who now believes that a system of incentives puts most health care purchasing power in the hands of insurance companies and bureaucrats, while cutting patients out of the equation.
