India Launches Mars Orbiter Into Space

India's first interplanetary mission, Isro's Mars Orbiter, rocketed towards Mars from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota on Tuesday to carry out scientific experiments and search for evidence of life on the red planet.
