Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast on Tuesday, a day ahead of the new round of nuclear talks with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), confirmed earlier reports that Iran had started conversion of its high-grade enriched uranium into reactor fuel.

On Monday, foreign media, quoting diplomats close to the IAEA, reported that the Islamic republic had resumed converting parts of its 20-percent enriched uranium into fuel.

The Iranian spokesman told reporters in his weekly press conference on Tuesday that converting enriched uranium into fuel is underway and Iran has made complete reports about it to the IAEA.
