Suicide Is Painless
A teacher in the Charente region of France has been suspended for asking 13- and 14-year-old students to write an essay from the viewpoint of a suicidal teenager. An official with the education ministry says the teacher, who wasn't identified in press accounts, could face disciplinary action.
