Feds Drop Sex Abuse Investigation Into Former Syracuse Basketball Coach

Bernie Fine lost his assistant coaching job after two people claimed he sexually molested them decades ago

Federal authorities are dropping their investigation into sexual abuse claims that cost Syracuse University assistant basketball coach Bernie Fine his job.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Steven Clymer filed court papers Friday morning saying it was over, eight days short of the one-year anniversary of the day that two former SU ball boys, Bobby Davis and stepbrother Mike Lang, accused Fine on national TV of molesting them decades ago when they were children.
