Chicago warned to stay away from lakefront
Chicago officials are urging people to stay away from the lakefront today as the superstorm pounding the Northeast whips up strong winds and high waves on Lake Michigan.
Chicago's Office of Emergency Management and Communications is warning that winds up to 60 mph could send waves as high as 25 feet crashing along the shoreline.
