Steve Jobs Ex Writing Tell-All

Mother of his first child reportedly signed contract

|

Today is the one-year anniversary of the death of Apple co-founder Steve Jobs, and to mark the date Apple has replaced its normal website with a video retrospective of his life as well as a message from CEO Tim Cook. In the last year many friends and associates of Jobs have come forward to share anecdotes about the man, but one important person has remained mostly out of the spotlight, until now.

Chrisann Brennan, Jobs's high school girlfriend and the mother of his first child, Lisa Brennan-Jobs, has reportedly signed a contract with St. Martin's Press to write a tell-all book about her relationship with the technology icon. Brennan's relationship with Jobs was profiled in the authorized biography by Walter Isaacson published last year. Not only is Brennan quoted frequently in the book, but she also penned an essay about their relationship for Rolling Stone just after his death. But until now we've only read snippets of what her personal connection to Jobs was like.
