It has been more than 120 years since the last known murder committed by Jack the Ripper. But Scotland Yard is refusing to release the complete files of the case. Trever Marriott, a former police officer and Ripper investigator, has taken the agency to court to get access to the files. But officials say they contain the names of informants and releasing those names could make it harder to get information from modern informants.
