Californians May Be a Little Less Independent

|

The California legislature has approved emergency legislation banning alcohol on the American River during the summer holidays. Lawmakers are urging Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger to sign the bill quickly so it will take effect before July 4. Some of those people get into fights, and some get drunk and fall out of the rafts. So lawmakers decided to ban booze for everyone.
