Mendoza Stewart was proud of his 1972 Bristol 411, and with good reason. Just 287 of the hand-crafted cars were made, and it was worth £30,000. So he was disturbed to find it missing after visiting his son in South London, England. In fact, local parking officials had towed the car and crushed it. Stewart says he hasn't gotten any compensation from the government for the car. In fact, he says, he can't even get the local council to explain why they towed the car, which was legally parked.
