That's Not News

A British court has ruled the BBC does not have to release an internal report into allegations its coverage of the Middle East is biased. London solicitor Steven Sugar had sued to get the so-called Balen report released under the Freedom of Information Act. "The BBC's action in this case had nothing to do with the fact that the Balen report was about the Middle East—the same approach would have been taken whatever area of news output was covered," said the broadcaster in a statement.
