Cartoon Justice
A Yemeni court sentenced Kamal al-Aalafi to one year in prison for reprinting cartoons of Mohammad that appeared in a Danish newspaper. The court also ordered the newspaper he edited closed for six months. al-Aalafi says he reprinted the cartoons to raise awareness, not to insult Islam.
