Maine's Bureau of Liquor Enforcement has refused to allow Santa's Butt Winter Porter and two other beers to be sold. Meanwhile, the New York State Liquor Authority has also banned Santa's Butt, as well as three other Christmas themed beers. At issue are the beer's labels. Santa's Butt has a painting that depicts, well, Santa's butt. Maine authorities say the label is "undignified or improper," while New York officials say it could appeal to children.
