Syrian Justice
Syrian officials have arrested at least five people for speaking out against the government. Mohammed Najati Tayyara, vice-president of the Human Rights Association in Syria (HRAS), was among those arrested. He recently attended a meeting of Syrian dissidents in the United States. Two students were also arrested for trying to organize a meeting of youth, according to Syrian rights groups.
