The good folks at the American Cinema Foundation are hosting four interesting panel discussions on Friday and Saturday at the American Film Institute, including one on "Public Television Confidential: A Look at Basic Premises," where I'll be chanting "Free Big Bird!" and suchlike.
Details: Saturday, 8 p.m., moderated by occasional Reason contributor Cathy Seipp; other panelists include The Hollywood Reporter's Ray Richmond and Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory director Mel Stuart.
