Police in New South Wales, Australia, are acting most un-Australian. They are asking the government to bar alcoholic-beverage companies from sponsoring sporting events or advertising during athletic contests. They've also asked that hotels and bars be banned from selling alcohol 24 hours a day. Critics say the police are just trying to make others pay for their inability to control drunken behavior.
