Just Following Orders
Jefferson County, Alabama, Sheriff Mike Hale directed one of his deputies to dispose of evidence in a case that had been closed. Among the items the deputy burned was $2,100 in cash. Hale said measures are being taken to prevent similar incidents from happening in the future.
