End of the Line
Two years ago, Wisconsin set up a special hotline for people to report allegations of weapons being brought into schools. The hotline costs $50,000 to maintain but has received just seven calls in total, five of them pranks. Some lawmakers want to end the hotline despite strong support in the state legislature.
