It's 2:51 am, Do You Know Where Your F-16 Is?
The combat air patrols resumed over and around Washington last night. The F-16s fly big figure eights which seem to cover the Potomac River approaches to both Dulles and Reagan National. This has happened several times since 9/11 and hasn't always been related to any obvious action somewhere on the globe.
What has been a telltale sign that something is up is two Marine helicopters hauling Dick Cheney to his undisclosed secure location at Camp David. (If it is three choppers, then Dubya is aboard.) Haven't seen that. Yet.
