Smallpox Vaccination Hysteria
Reading the Washington Post and the New York Times one might think that it might be safer to ride in a motocross rally than to get a smallpox vaccination. For example, the Washington Post for example reports that 1 or 2 people in 1 million might die from being vaccinated. If one has a healthy immune system, the risk of dying from a smallpox vaccination is equivalent to smoking 1.4 cigarettes, drinking a half a bottle of wine, or living 2 days in New York or Boston. The media need to stop scaremongering, while the Feds should just let people decide for themselves if they want to be vaccinated.
