Busy doctors and nurses often don't have the time to actually read patient charts or medicine labels any more. Not to worry, the folks who run one of my favorite online publications, Null Hypothesis: The Journal of Unlikely Science, point out that a French think tank is developing road-sign inspired icons to label drugs. The Null Hypothesis editors have made some helpful suggestions of their own which I include below:
