Via Boing Boing, check out video (.Mov) of rapper Kanye West going a bit off-script during an NBC telethon for Katrina victims. While little about this situation is funny, I've got to admit it's a little amusing to watch an increasingly uncomfortable Mike Myers attempt to stick to the teleprompter as a palpably emotional West riffs:
I hate the way they portray us in the media. If you see a black family it says they are looting if you see a white family it says they are looking for food....They've given them permission to go down and shoot us.
And concludes: "George Bush doesn't care about black people."
