A suspected U.S. drone strike has killed at least six alleged al-Qaida militants in central Yemen, continuing a string of attacks amid terror threat warnings by the United States and counterterrorism operations by Yemeni authorities.

Officials say the drone strike Thursday targeted a vehicle in Marib province.

It is the sixth drone strike in Yemen in less than two weeks.  The U.S. has repeatedly used drone strikes in recent years to target members of al-Qaida.
