LYRICS:

Finally, what has gotten into Russia's top Olympian?
Needles, apparently.
More on that later as we yield for Breaking News.
Ed? Thank You.

Breaking news that's horribly tragic
and if your children are watching, we warn you, it's graphic
our lead story tonight atop the report
was Donald Trump eating chicken with a knife and a fork?

Plus, this Trump supporter is 11 years old
so what are his thoughts on the--are you reading the scroll?
who he thinks is best fit to lead us
and would he have voted for Obamacare he was a fetus?

Look, I really don't mean to step on your staging
but it seems like there's war and some battles are raging
reporting the news--is that not our vow?
You know what, you're right. I'll cover it now

Well the war continues (yes!) on Twitter as planned (no…)
between Donald Trump and a Littleton man
The fighting is fierce, no sight of the end
follow it all on our app--you're watching CNN

What I mean's while we're reading these trivial mysteries
people are dying, we're losing our liberties
They're inside our…wow…isn't that banned?
Inside our hardware. I understand.

They could be in your phone at this very moment
Pokemons! This town is Pokemon Go-ing
Plus, this expensive beer--how hoppy's the taste?
Fareed Zakaria is here to copy and paste.

Look, I really just think that there's stuff that we missed
Like, holy crap, is that true? Does that list exist?
Cover the news. Shake up the ranks.
Yes! Do that. I'd lost my way. Thanks.

Well it's a hidden document upon which fates swing
Fortune cookie fortunes--who's writing those things!?
Plus, a man with no parachute just took a dive
in today's most newsworthy instance of one flung from the sky

I know this is tough so forgive the belittling
Rome is engulfed and we're sitting here fiddling
executive orders, economy stuttering
these are the stories we're sitting here covering?

War in Afghanistan, hurt in Iraq
you'd need $5 foot-longs for Turkey this bad
Can we cut his mic?

Well, the war on whistleblowers continued today
we'll update the condition of that Little League referee
Plus, it took the Olympics by storm, but what is it like to cup someone?
Josh Duggar is in the studio...

    Always fantastic.

  • GILMORE™||

    Bravo Remy

    the parade of inanity on cable news has never been more absurd

  • Glide||

    Totally off topic but CNN related: I'm currently retro-watching the Jill Stein town hall to kill time until I go home from work (y'know, just to increase my information intake), and I guess I've never watched an extended Jill Stein speech before, because I never noticed that she speaks entirely in run-on sentences separated by "so" or "and" between each clause. I'm almost laughing out loud counting how many implied commas are in her answers for every period.

  • tarran||

    She's living proof that a insane, religious nutjob can get an MD.

  • GILMORE™||

    run-on sentences separated by "so" or "and"

    with zero logical connection between those clauses

    reminiscent of the title of an oft-cited-Mr-Show-Sketch

  • DOOMco||

    Do you have a link for my lazy ass?

  • AlmightyJB||

    Gotta love the Remy

  • Fist of Etiquette||

    I enjoyed this. I admit it freely.

  • ||

    I also enjoyed this. Remy is not usually my horn of ale, but this one was good.

  • Tundra||

    Perfection.

  • lap83||

    If you have something to say about Robby's approach to links, say it when he's here to defend himself. Gosh

  • Francisco d'Anconia||

    Just giving the people what they want to hear.- This is CNN

    sadly

  • B.P.||

    Affirmed. That was excellent.

  • Cynical Asshole||

    Awesome. Remy = "Libertarian Weird Al"

  • Ken Shultz||

    This captures so much.

    It's amazing the importance some people place on what Trump says--relative to what other people actually do.

    Talking about how Trump eats chicken while "Obama Updates Kill List" scrolls along the bottom . . .

    Remy is like a political cartoonist except unlike political cartoons, Remy doesn't suck.

  • JWatts||

    Yes, but Obama talks in nice soothing tones and says good things about favored groups, while Trump says outrageous and mean things about those same groups.

  • phenryinohio||

    More Remy please. I was beginning to wonder if you all had cut off his mic.

  • Rockabilly||

    CNN = Clinton News Network
    or
    CNN = Communist News Network

  • DOOMco||

    Well done

  • jdgalt||

    I was hoping he'd at least mention CNN's unfair practice of inserting "fact checking" in captions whenever Donald Trump opens his mouth -- but never doing the same to Hillary, no matter how much she deserves it too.

    I'm surprised CNN isn't required to report that level of bias as a huge donation to Hillary.

  • Chipper Morning Wood||

    This was one of Remy's best. Awesome. Can Reason just give this guy a full time job? How about a 30 minute show once a week from a libertarian perspective with humor? Something to balance out the endless parade of liberal idiot comedian talk shows?

  • SharePointCharlie||

    Spot on.

  • patoforo||

    I'm making over $9k a month working part time. I kept hearing other people tell me how much money they can make online so I decided to look into it. Well, it was all true and has totally changed my life. This is what I do.... Go to tech tab for work detail..
