That really sums up the impact of libertarianism--hawking a paperback to nerds. Pathetic.RegularRon | September 12, 2008, 10:34am | #
Brian, it's good to have you back here. And look forward to your new book coming out.Lefiti | September 12, 2008, 10:37am | #

If any of you are setting near Lefiti, punch him in the nuts for me. (Sorry, must be the steroids talking.)Warren | September 12, 2008, 11:29am | #
Sorry, must be the steroids talking.Maybe not. I don't take steroids, and even though I loath and oppose violence in just about all situations, I think it's an objective assessment that Lefiti needs to be punched in the nuts.

Lefiti,At least it's a cheap paperback and a good read. The ultimate price of McCain's or Obama's self-laudatory biographies will be measured in trillions ... and frankly, Stephen King does horror more convincingly at a much lower price per page.

Doherty seems remarkably optimistic about the possibilities left open to the Paul movement. I hope he's right.gabe | September 12, 2008, 2:02pm | #

I really do not understand why H&R allows obvious trolls like Lefiti to stick around. He provides zero relevant input and is clearly looking for attention.Boot him.

"...is now out in paperback and makes a perfect mid-September gift for all your mid-September gift-giving needs..."C'mon, Doherty: You must realize that the smart shoppers are already buying their xmas gifts. And who but a smart and thoughtful shopper would get such a gift for a friend or loved one? When that royalty check comes in to make some Xmas of yours all the merrier, thank your savvy publisher for a mid-September release.

James---I was just being a little freeform absurd about hyping anything for sale right now; the paperback has actually, truth been told, been out for a couple months; I was just off clock writing another book and didn't have the opportunity to hype it on Hit and Run myself. My beautiful publisher PublicAffairs has never made a wrong move!Lefiti | September 12, 2008, 5:04pm | #
Angry OptimistI thought libertarians were against censorship. Eat my shit, you slimy fucking hypocrit.

I thought libertarians were against censorship. Its not censorship to boot you from a private forum. Set up your own damn website if H & R declines to let you use theirs.

R C DeanHow the fuck is this a private forum? Privacy on the fucking Internet? You must have your head so far up your ass that you can see light through your belly button. Jesus!
