Funny, but I liked the one where Hitler was a Cowboys fan better. The actual movie is very good--I highly recommend it.

"This video is not available in your country."I'm kind of curious why. All the other millions of subtitled comedy versions of Der Untergang are avaiable in my country.

My personal favorite is the storm-chasing version, though I'm not sure it would be that funny to non-meteorologists.On a side note, is there a wiki or something that lists all the different versions of this video by subject? I think it would be interesting to see how obscure the meme has gotten.

The secret is to refresh the page and then click on the video again. Something happens to the link when the page sits open for a while.

I was drinking coffee and almost drowned myself. I choked, coffee came out my nose and tears flowed from my eyes as I tried to watch. What a mess, got to go change my shirt to even go to lunch. Funniest thing in years for a grumpy old man...affenkopf | May 9, 2008, 12:53pm | #

Laugh it up. The Democrat Party just threw their strongest chance of winning the Presidency under the bus.I bet Hillary wishes she stayed with the Part of Victory, the GOP.

Hmm. When someone sets up a site that's called Something Watch, that Something is invariably something they hate and oppose.Welcome to Freedom's Watch For too long, conservatives have lacked a permanent political presence to do battle with the radical special interest groups and their left-wing allies in government. Freedom’s Watch was formed to be the conservative voice fighting for mainstream conservative principles.Bingo.

Neil, my friend, have you ever been to any Muslim country?Trust me, they do know that they do not have freedoms. And they are trying to change that. But every time those who want to "spread freedom" to that part of the world get involved, it ends up hurting freedom and those people in these countries than actually do any help. Stay the hell out!
Let me put it for you this way. Many groups in the ME (e.g. kifaya in Egypt and liberal secular reformers in Iran) back down only because they are accused (by true freedom-hating rulers) of being with "the enemy". They really do not want to be associated with Freedom Watch or whatever. Not because they hate freedom, but only because "Freedom Watch" etc hurt the cause than further it.
My German friend loved it, except he had a hard time with it, being that he understood every word said onscreen, which obviously didn't jive with the subtitles.
Gotta say, that would be a unholy bitch for me to do in english.
Eric the .5b | May 9, 2008, 5:39pm | #
So Spake Freedom-Watcher:Eric we are defending freedom all over the worldDo tell - whose freedoms are your little group defending? Going by a skim of your blog, it doesn't look like you'd dig your freedoms out of a wet paper bag if you thought your fellow Reds would look at you funny.
doing our best to extend the blessings of liberty to the Muslim world which you think they can't handle. What exactly is your little group doing to help Muslims? And, doing you the courtesy of pretending you're not just copying and pasting from a script, why do you think you're a mind-reader who can tell what I think about "the Muslim world"?

There there, Neil.I know you haven't gotten satisfaction from the political process, but buck up.
You can always cling to you guns, your religion, and your antipathy to people who aren't like you.

There you go Joe.Keep it up.
Let that liberal northeastern elitism shine through. Why don't you go eat some arugula root?
No. Not so much, really. She hasn't been getting much coverage since the May 6 primaries that were going to ruin Obama's early victory.
The news has been all about McCain mutating into Dick Cheney, and then his flacks bringing up the fact that he's old.
C'mon, Reverend Wrong, give us a prediction.
Neil | May 9, 2008, 8:00pm | #
Want a prediction Joe?Hillary Clinton wins the WV and KY primaries in a blow out (probably at least 30 points) and serious questions about Obama's electability are raised.
Meanwhile, his poll numbers against McCain stagnate or even lower a little. No post-nomination surge for Senator Hussein.
Throughout, Obama's lead over McCain continues to grow.
Neil | May 9, 2008, 8:51pm | #
LOL Joe did you know Clinton STILL has a consistently bigger lead than Obama against McCain DESPITE being almost knocked out?I bet she still does better against him by Oregon.
Looks like you all really know how to pick a loser.
Yup. She'd kick his ass, too.
Looks like you all really know how to pick a loser.
Yeah, that guy who's winning is totally unelectable.
The Cowboys bit was better, but this was pretty good.
Neil | May 9, 2008, 8:59pm | #
I liked the X Box live one better but yeah it was pretty funny.I hope you Democrats are ready to admit (finally) what unrepentant scumbags the Clintons are after being on the recieving end of their slime. Are you ready to admit what criminal scum they really are?
joe | May 9, 2008, 10:08pm | #
Neil,"Criminal" is a bit strong, but I never liked them. I used to bitch about Bill Clinton all the time.
I've seen them from a new perspective during this campaign. No class. They really do run more like Republicans than liberals. They're not afraid to "go there" at all.
joe | May 9, 2008, 10:09pm | #
I saw a lame pro-Giants "Downfall" after the Superbowl.Neil | May 9, 2008, 10:12pm | #
Joe thats exactly why I really did think she would be scarier to run against than Obama, for the reason you said. She woudlve destroyed McCain through negative campaigning by November shed probably even be questioning his time as a POW.Obama is classic liberal campaign that tries to be "above it all" thats easier for a Republican to go against.
joe | May 10, 2008, 8:13am | #
She couldn't destroy Obama through negative campaigning, Neil. You'd think you'd have learned; just because you can think up an attack doesn't mean it's going to work. Did you think his poll numbers were going to bounce back after Wright-gate? Bitter-gate? Wright-gate 2? Ayers-gate? They did, against the very formidable Hillary Clinton.
Conservative Observer | May 10, 2008, 2:14pm | #
Joe, the general election is a whole different ball game.Playing the victim card works with Democrat voters, but not swing voters and independents. Obama has an image problem in the heartland (a lot of people still think he swore in on the Koran) that isn't going to go away anytime soon.
BTS | May 10, 2008, 3:44pm | #
So basically CO, you're saying that he won't be president because a large portion of our populace are ignorant and bigoted.Oy vey, what a country.

Playing the victim card works with Democrat voters, but not swing voters and independents. Obama has an image problem in the heartland (a lot of people still think he swore in on the Koran) that isn't going to go away anytime soon. You see this fellow over here in the yellow shirt? His name's Osama, or something, and he's been following us around everywhere. And that's just great. Everybody, let's give Osama here a big welcome to the real world of America.
You mean like that, Neil/Conservative Observer?
Sure. Good luck with that.
