What annoys me most isn't that Paul placed 5th instead of 3rd, but that Giuliani placed 4th instead of 6th. Dondero is really going to be insufferable now as he idolizes his matrubatory icon.Jose Ortega y Gasset | January 8, 2008, 11:17pm | #
Ralph Reed is alive?TDL | January 8, 2008, 11:21pm | #
Rostenkowski handicaps politics for Fox in Chicago. I don't think he wants to head back to D.C. out fear they'll make him give all those chairs he stole back.Regards,
TDL

Jesse, in a world in which Dick Morris won't go away, Reed's return is no biggie.Brian24 | January 8, 2008, 11:32pm | #
Jon Stewart had on David Frum (who is advising Giuliani). Exchange of the night:Stewart: [the Republicans'] prescription seems to be small government, but then they get in office, and they always blow the government up. Have they lost credibility for all the things that they say? For instance, Ron Paul seems like the most conservative candidate, and the other candidates are laughing him off. Fox News wouldn't even put him on the debate!
Frum: Well, Ron Paul...is one of these people who, in time of trouble, people turn often to some pretty terrible answers, and he is absolutely an example of that...[interrupted by derisive laughter from Stewart]
Stewart: That's actually his bumper sticker. I don't know if you knew that. "Ron Paul: I'm a terrible answer!"
Frum: You know, he's one of those people that, the more you learn about him, the more disturbing a personality he becomes.
Stewart [seemingly amazed]: You should check into YOUR guy!

So what's the deal with animal rights? In China, they engage in chicken baiting, where they hold a chicken up in front of a lion and then tease the animal until it eats it. The Chinese think this is funny. Is this any worse than what we do to animals in the slaughterhouse? We prelong the torture, but we don't get satisfaction out of it. The Chinese have once again shown themselves to be brilliant.

Jack Abramoff's favorite Christian is sitting on CNN's panel of analysts, pattering away like a respectable public figure. I don't watch much cable news anymore, so someone out there will have to tell me: How long has this been going on?Ever since Oliver North began pattering away on FOX as a respectable public figure.

So, I think that Ali lost a bet to LiT?Sad for all of us, but at least I should be entertained by the paying of the dept, I hope I can peruse the threads where that takes place.

And who was Ralph Reed sitting next to? Bill "One-Arm Bandit" Bennett. CNN could find no better qualified (or less scummy) people to comment? It's not even like Bennett has anything interesting to say when his fat jowls move.My girlfriend did say that Reed had a nice suit on, which I told her was paid by the Indians. She said I should look into that kind of work.

Hey, lighten up on Ralph! Remember that "Rev. Al" Sharpten is still a player for the liberals. Besides, once a name, always a name, at least on cable.madmikefisk | January 9, 2008, 8:45am | #
Look... with him CNN can say that they have a Christian conservative on their political staff... and if he's discredited, all the better (doesn't Bill Bennett do some stuff for CNN as well?).J sub D | January 9, 2008, 8:48am | #
So what's the deal with animal rights? In China, they engage in chicken baiting...Ralph Reed ---> Filthy stupid fowl.
That connection is somewhat of a stretch.
To answer your query, animals doin't have rights. People have moral responsibilities.

Ever since Oliver North began pattering away on FOX as a respectable public figure. No, I meant: How long has Reed himself been doing commentary for CNN? I realize that he isn't the first disgraced figure to get a job like this.

It was a media scam. The tears were a media scam. My sister does the same thing to control (castrate) her husbands (of which that have been many). Tear up a little, get some sympathy then pour out yer little pea pickin' heart and tell 'em whose responsible... little ol 'Bama. Great sucker punch. Then the MSM steps in, gets all the white folks a little scared about the nasty black man so there's a big turn out to ensure the poor little white girl gets her justice.
Christ, how many films do we see about this crap every year. Barnham's suckers were all in NH last nite.

Rostenkowski handicaps politics for Fox in Chicago. Is that the new euphemism for knee-capping recalcitrant apparatchiks now?

I guess if Ralph Reed were publishing virulently racist newsletters instead, you would be asking him to run for president rather than making lame criticisms about him.Q | January 9, 2008, 4:42pm | #
Everytime i've seen bill bennett on cnn recently, he is sitting next to Donna Brazile. I wonder what she thinks of his 'abort black babies to reduce crime' mentality.
