Scott Smithwick says Gwinnett County, Georgia, police refused to believe him when he told them the indoor growing system he set up is for growing tropical plants, not marijuana. After they'd twice searched his home and found no pot, officers still threatened to arrest Smithwick. "The sergeant told me based on (the) fertilizers and the lights in the room, I could be charged with manufacturing marijuana and held without bond and sent to prison," Smithwick told an Atlanta TV station.
