Former Overland, Missouri, police officer Andrew Ringeisen has pleaded guilty of involuntary manslaughter in the death of Kenneth Hamilton, and the city has paid $1.8 million to settle a lawsuit brought by Hamilton's family. Ringeisen, another officer and a sergeant went to Hamilton's house to question him about a reported road rage incident. That's where Ringeisen pushed Hamilton down a flight of stairs, causing him massive head injuries. The three allegedly left him there without telling anyone and even removed a video from the home's surveillance system. The other officers were not charged in Hamilton's death.
