When 15-year-old Ashley Donaldson found $2,000, she did what she believed was right and turned the money over to a nearby bank. The bank, in turn, turned it over to the Dallas, Texas, police. When no one claimed the money, the police did what they thought was right and said they would keep it. But after local media reported their decision, a public uproar ensued. The police quickly said that Ashley would get the money.
